Focus on Safety

NEW SAFETY PROTOCOL:

We want to ensure that students are safe on our school campuses in the Richland School District, therefore, an ID card is now required for any parent/guardian wanting to go onto campus at Golden Oak Elementary.  If you have any questions or concerns, please see site administration.

Thank you for assisting us in maintaining a safe school for all of us!

Tiger students, here are some reminders of our expectations for the week:

Being here on-time, every day of learning is so important in order for you to learn. We need you here every day!

As a special reward to two lucky students who have excellent attendance, your teacher will select two students in K-6 to participate in an extra LUNCH time Art project with Ms. Beckie, if you want it. Thank you for coming to school every day, to our winners!

A reminder, students, that playing in the bathrooms is not allowed. Bathrooms are for "business" and not playing. Please take the time to be responsible and report any problems to a yard aide. They are there to help you...always.

There is also a lot of tag happening in the Kinder and big kids playground. We do not allow tag due to the fact that students do not play safely. You will lose your recess and stand with a yard aide if you play tag. Thank you for being safe!

A/R: Check out the updated TOP 5 lists below! We will determine the Top 5 point-getters in May and the winners will have an awesome field trip to Barnes and Noble Bookstore and earn $30 in free books.

*Schedule for the week: Tuesday is Minimum Day; Wednesday is College T-shirt Day; Friday is School Spirit Day-Wear Red to show your school spirit!

CEP participants are able to provide a healthy breakfast and lunch each day at NO CHARGE for all students enrolled during the 2019-2020 school year. No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit an application.
